Content Writer

Thirdsail is hiring a Content Writer to write long-form, SEO-optimized content to drive traffic and conversions for an employer of record and subsidiary management company.

Role

You will be writing articles, guides, and other content covering a range of topics related to payroll, HR, taxation, incorporation, and cross-border business, focusing on Canada and the USA. You will also maintain and update existing articles so the information is current.

You will also help suggest article topics and titles, maintain the content publication schedule, and have an opportunity to provide input on content strategy.

Requirements

* Strong experience with writing long-form content, particularly SEO-optimized content

* Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, Keyword Planner, and other search tools

* Experience with research and the desire to learn deeply about payroll, HR, and other related topics

Nice-to-haves

* Experience with SEO audit and research tools

* Experience with content planning and/or managing a content release schedule

* Experience using Webflow

* Experience writing marketing and sales copy

* Experience working in, or writing content related to payroll, HR, taxation, and incorporation

* Understanding of search algorithms, keywords, and ranking factors

Schedule

* This role is paid per article to start, with flexible working hours. Upon successful completion of several articles, there is the opportunity to go full-time with a salaried position

* Specific time zone is flexible but must have occasional overlap with 9am - 5pm Eastern Standard Time
